say it isn't so.

could it really be true that i haven't posted a word of thanks from thanksgiving? and that it is already the second week of december?  clearly, i have been consumed with life, and haven't had a single moment of "down" time.  or maybe it is that the second season of downton abbey arrived in our mailbox and i have something VERY important to do at night that does not include blogging!

needless to say, our thanksgiving was the loveliest of lovely.  food, family, fun.  my kids are so spoiled (as am i!)  we spent the time at my parents, with siblings, spouses and in-laws.  none of my children ate a single bite of dinner, but they were perfectly pleasant and even serenaded us as we ate.  it made me happy.

and since then, we have:
- attended christmas parties
- decorated our house until it resembles the griswalds
- hunted and gathered the perfect rahbar christmas tree
- attended a very fancy rendition of the nutcracker (my mom, ada and i went, and loved it!)
- baked plenty of cookies and cheese straws, and eaten them
- attended two christmas parades
- had company, including a sneaky elf that has little interest in my children but much interest in food.

and all the meantime i have spent every moment trying to secretly shop for the littles, my husband, and all of our families!  boy oh boy-what a job!  thankfully the end of the list is near...

and just to give you a peek, here are some pictures from the big camera.  i will surely post from my phone soon, as it seems to get all the good shots!  the kids are so super excited about christmas and are so deserving of a wonderful one.  i love to capture their excitement in all of our random adventures.

until later,
enjoy the season as much as we are.
