we weren't sure what to expect.
a few weeks before we left for boston, our vacation rental cancelled on us.
we scrambled and found nothing in boston
but stumbled upon a cottage in rockport, ma
on the beach.
we took it.
then, friday, just before we left, i stumbled in the driveway
and broke my wrist.
36 weeks pregnant with a broken wrist and headed on vacation.
my expectations were low.
but, by golly, we had the most wonderful vacation we have ever had together.
the stars were aligned.
we have never had so much fun as a family.
we spent lots of time on the beautiful new england beaches,
visited friends in our old neighborhood of brookline village,
toured boston,
and even made it for a special trip to the american girl store for our
most deserving, ada.
it couldn't have been a more perfect vacation,
especially considering it will be our last as a party of five.
next time we vacation, we will certainly be renting a minivan.
we are starting the countdown!
enjoy the plethora of pictures,
and the size of my pregnant belly may make you nauseas
(close your eyes if this happens, it does look quite scary.)
